International Women’s Day on 8th March
For International Women’s Day on 8th March, Caritas would like to celebrate the women who lay the foundations and build peace in communities around the world.
These six Caritas women are from India, Central African Republic, Colombia, Ukraine, Syria and the United States. They stand up to the chaos caused by war, violence and social upheaval and make their contribution to a more peaceful world. They are bringers of hope and love and sowers of justice.
